Ash Wednesday The Imposition of Ashes

Lent is a time of waiting, anticipation and preparing before we celebrate the festival of Easter and the Resurrection of Jesus.
The imposition of ashes is a traditional that takes place on Ash Wednesday which marks the beginning of Lent.
